Does Kevin Kietzman deserve to be fired/forced to resign?

I'm not 100% on the KK news from today. But figured we'd start a thread to discuss this topic.

Sound off below. Also feel free to add in the KK tweets and such in here.

Thanks!

I'm not sure it's worth a thread, but can people summarize from top to bottom who the best and worst "journalists" and personalities were on this story?

I don't follow the media, so I don't have a full rundown. But if we were to rank the media from 1 through whatever on the Tyreek Hill story, what would the rankings be? Who was a good journalist and who did not follow journalistic ethics.

Right now, I think the list is:

1. Everybody else.
2. Kevin Kietzman
3. Mike Florio
4. Brooke Pryor

Can someone help me flesh out the list?

Angie Ricono and any of the anchors at KCTV that all had distressed looks on their faces anytime they were talking about Tyreek Hill on air.

Ricono is the one who really started all this by getting the tape.

So where would you rank her?

I'm having trouble figuring out if Florio or Pryor should occupy the bottom spot, too. Thoughts?

At what point in Kansas City broadcasting history did THIS seismic event occur? I did stop listening in 2009, so there is a possibility that Petro has gone from Cassel worshipping idiot to something a little better?

There IS a quick litmus test we can run together:

2013: Petro did or did not support the wasting of a historic 1.1 draft pick in conjunction with bringing yet another ****tarded retread San Francisco quarterback to Kansas City?

If answer is "yes", nothing has changed and he is still the same drooling mongeau that I knew from my days in Kansas City Missouri.

KK has done nothing but shit on the Chiefs and Andy Reid this off season.
(After the most successful season since 1969?)

Good for the Chiefs if so.

1. Ricono for starting all this shit
2. Pryor for making it worse
3. Florio for making it a national witch hunt

I doubt that happened.

But the Chiefs/Reid not answering any "apology" calls from KK was a nice **** off statement.

Correct. My vote was simply that the incident alone wasn't bad enough to fire a long time employee. It was inappropriate.. particularly the way it was worded made it worse. This kind of stuff and trolling/playing the heel have been his schtick.

I don't mind it though. Hopefully the next person will put some effort in. His show had been on cruise control for years. He didn't seem to have a positive relationship with the other on air personalities at his own station. Maybe he's a dickhead off the air too, dunno.
