Yeah....that's one gif of Smith. There aren't hundreds of those things out there from his entire career.

His pocket composure. .. Yes, said it, and I have said it before as well. He has had some truly awful OL stand in front of him over many years. The dude just won't get any more composed than what he is... and it will always hold him back. How much it will hold him back is where the true debate would be.

The browns can offer a lot for Smith because they have 12 picks and they also have high picks (1, 4, 33, 35 and the eagles 2nd also). I would expect that they'd offer more for Smith than AJ McCarron. The Browns supposedly had a deal for McCarron for a 2nd and a 3rd. This also frees the browns up to trade down with there #1 overall pick and maybe take their qbotf next year, and they'd have 2 #1's this year and 2 #1's next year if they traded down. I could easily see the jets and broncos getting in a bidding war for the #1 overall pick to move ahead of the giants. Hopefully the chiefs can get 2 2nd rounders from the browns. I doubt the cards or the bills pull the trigger on their 1st round pick.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...mccarron-trade 2018 NFL DRAFT First round: (2) Own pick, Texans' pick via 2017 draft-day trade. Second round: (3) Own pick, Eagles' pick via 2016 draft-day trade, Texans' pick via Brock Osweiler trade. Third round: (1) Own pick. Fourth round: (2) Own pick, Panthers' pick via Andy Lee trade. Fifth round: (2) Own pick, Chiefs' pick (conditional) via Cam Erving trade. Sixth round: (1) Own pick. Seventh round: (1) Own pick. |

I’d ask for 2 of their 2nd rounders or start with the Texans first rounder

Pick 33 Browns is worth 580
Pick 35 thru Texans is worth 560 Pick 63/64 thru Eagles is worth 276/270 Two of those involving the Eagles pick would be worth somewhere between 830 to 856 which is either side of the #20 pick in the 1st round. That wouldn't be bad. 33 and 35 would be equivalent to the 15th pick in the draft. Could happen I suppose. As my David Putney move, I would ask for our 5th rounder for Cam Erving back too. Worth 31 points. Last edited by Coogs; 01-22-2018 at 03:54 PM.. |

You can't block a spying linebacker 2 yards past the los. That is illegal down field.

I'd almost rather have the 2 2nd rounders.
That would give us plenty of options and give us a chance to better play the board. We could easily trade up into the 1st any time around pick #20 to go after a stud player we like, or we could just keep all three 2nds and knock out a ton of draft needs/depth issues. |

My dream is for Arizona to be desperate and trade pick 15 but that’s not happening. Realistically I’m hoping for Cleveland’s 2 2s

No one is going to trade for Smith on a 1 year deal. If they did...I would expect at most a 4th round pick. If I wanted Smith bad enough, I'll just wait for the Chiefs to cut him.
