So is Landon Collins the official “trade for him Veach” flavor of the week?

Starting to be more and more mentions of him being a possible trade target on Twitter. I wouldn’t be against it depending on what they want. Dude is a stud and he dominated us last year (sorry to bring it up). Any chance it happens?

Dude. That's absolute lunacy. If Veach did that, I would support firing his ass immediately.

The Giants would be lucky to get a 2nd. More likely they're looking at a 3rd.

Landon Collins to the faraway towns
Now war is declared and battle come down
Landon Collins to the underworld
Come outta' the cupboard, ya' boys and girls
Landon Collins, now don't look to us
Phony Beatlemania has bitten the dust
Landon Collins, see we ain't got no swing
'Cept for the ring of that truncheon thing

The ice age is coming, the sun's zoomin' in
Meltdown expected, the wheat is growin' thin
Engines stop running, but I have no fear
Cause Landon is drownin', I, live by the river

(Landon Collins) to the imitation zone
Forget it, brother, you can go it alone
Landon Collins to the zombies of death
Quit holdin' out and draw another breath
Landon Collins and I don't want to shout
But while we were talking I saw you noddin' out
Landon Collins, see we ain't got no high
'Cept for that one with the yellowy eyes

The ice age is coming, the sun's zoomin' in
Engines stop running, the wheat is growin' thin
A nuclear error, but I have no fear
Cause Landon is drowning, I, I live by the river
The ice age is coming, the sun's zoomin' in
Engines stop running, the wheat is growin' thin
A nuclear error, but I have no fear
Cause Landon is drowning, I, I live by the river

Now get this
(Landon Collins), yes, I was there, too
And ya' know what they said? Well, some of it was true!
(Landon Collins) at the top of the dial
And after all this, won't you give me a smile?
(Landon Collins)
I never felt so much alike alike alike

Okay so I wouldn't be fine with THAT, but I'd be willing to overpay a little for a legit defensive star right now. We should be all-in on winning the Super Bowl this season.

The Giants may be getting paid to play football, but there's nothing 'professional' about how they conduct themselves. And you're right - all I can do is base it on what I'm able to see, which is about 10% of what's relevant, but that's pretty much the inescapable truth of ALL message board chatter.

Again - Collins has been one of the chief leaders for this team as it gone flying off the rails. He's been immersed in a lockerroom that has openly used the words 'mutiny' within the last 14 months or so when referring to their head coach. The insanity that has permeated that team has been virtually unparalleled. That has to mean something.
That d has been pretty good though up til it’s finally just blown apart.

Middlekauf talked about it on his podcast today but the Mara family is sneaky more involved than people know. The brother actually runs the personnel rep.

It’s dysfunctional from the top down. As we saw when Andy came here in 13, getthe right voices in and it’ll turn around

I’d trade for him

There’s no chance they’re asking for that much or better would actually get that much

He needs a new contract too. It’ would probably get done for a 3rd

As I see eh has already beat me to it

The chiefs picks would likely be pretty late in the draft rounds anyway.

If they can move for a guy that’s still young and can contribute for a while, do it

Is the rookie contract of Mahomes as an advantage like the rams have done

It doesn’t happen unless it’s for a guy like Khalil Mack

In fairness, it wouldn't be an O.City post if it wasn't essentially a poorly phrased restatement of something I'd said 10 minutes earlier.

I pretty much skip over anything you type based on the assumption that I had already typed it better and faster than you did.
