Hali is not good in coverage and does not have the strength Houston does. And Houston probably won't see that many sacks because he's also valuable in coverage. I don't care about the last 5 years we're talking about now. As of this season Houston is the better player.

Just look up the advanced stats of how many times he has been able to rush the passer since he has been drafted. IIIRC, Justin Houston dropped into coverage more than any other OLB in a 3-4 last season and thus far this year is on pace to break the single season sack record in a defense that is predicated on more pressure. |

Brandon Flowers belongs in Tier 1. But I'd put Houston there too. Dez Bryant was just a huge mismatch. Literally.

You don't know what you're talking about if you don't think Justin Houston is elite.
When he has been able to consistently attack, he has consistently taken over games. The players ranked him in the top 50, as well. Justin Houston is a better football player than you are giving him credit for. |

We've seen Eddie Kennison get the best of Champ Bailey. I don't think anyone in their right mind would rate them even remotely close.

The right tackle for NO (Zach Strief) is one of the best in the league and Houston flat out dominated him in every possible way. Go listen to his post game remarks to hear how good he is first hand.
I wouldn't trade Houston for any LOLB in the league right now. If Von was trouble free, he would be the only one. |

Trying to remember if Aldon Smith or Clay Matthews is a LOLB. Both are better. |

Im not arguing if the guy is good or not. That's not the question. Is he Elite? There isn't any statistical evidence to prove that. He's not elite yet. |

Albert is near elite, if you cant tell by the massive drop off between him and the other four Chiefs lineman.
