They lost in overtime on the road. And it had much more to do with Drew Gooden than it did LeBron James.

QFT. Drew went off that night. Boston had that game won, too, if Allen had made just one of his free throws in the final seconds of regulation. He is human though, and I am OK with Pierce and the C's losing on the road in overtime to a decent team. No shame in that.

The sad part is when you look at the Knicks roster, on paper, they should be good. I fault the coaching plain and simple, and the players for being egomaniacs. There looks to be absolutely NO chemistry on this team whatsoever.

You have two very good big men in Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph, together you would think they would make a top 3 back court.

Then you have what appears, once again on paper, to be a good core of guards in the backcourt in Starbury, Crawford, and Richardson. Marbury has shown in his career that when he wants to he can be a magnificent passer...see his 8.0 APG in his career. Then you have Crawford, a perennial solid SG with a decent 3 point stroke. And to cap it off you have a power SF who can slash to the hoop.

I mean these guys are pathetic. The sad part is they lost by fittie when KG scores 8 points and they played PP and Ray Allen sparingly. For the love of god Brian Scalabrine had 23 minutes in this ball game.

You're really overrating those Knicks players. Curry and Randolph are extremely similar in the fact that they don't hold much value outside of their scoring roles. Neither of them plays any defense, and they both turnover the ball a lot.

Crawford isn't a good 3 point shooter (34% career), he just chucks up shots. QRich a power SF? The guy is a 3 point specialist...though he's not exactly much good at that either (35% career 3P).

As for Marbury, well he's always been one of the more talented guards in the NBA since he entered the league. It just doesn't mean much when you are an absolute headcase.

The Knicks have a lot of good offensive players, they just happen to all be selfish and they may be the worst defensive team I've ever seen.

I say no, I don't think they can beat the Cavs in 7 games when the playoffs roll around. It really depends on if the Big three get hot and score a lot of points, if they do, this team will be tough to beat. I love KG he plays with so much passion and he loves the game, and he is sweet.
