Embarrassing story:
WHen I was very young, my family used to go to Table Rock Lae every summer for a few days. We had a friend with a boat, so we'd go out on the water, and ski, and such. At one point, they tried to teach me how to ski. The problem was, they never told me that when you fall, and your skis fall off...it's a good idea to let go of the rope.

...I never did...I never did.


Ghost story:
Living in St Joe, rather than live int he dorms, a couple of friends and I rented a house. It was definitely haunted. ZThere were always some really freaky things taking place, and two people who lived there before us had killed themselves. Alone one night, I was playing Madden on my Sega Genesis. I paused the game, and went back to the kitchen to cook dinner. When I came back...the game had been played. Not just unpaused...but actually played. The score had changed for both sides, and my team had the ball again on 2nd and 3. Chairs were always moving...it was a creepy place.
After we moved out, the next tenant killed himself.

I can't say I remember it, but can tell what I was told happened. A few years ago I was in a pretty bad ATV accident, don't remember most of the details, but was hospitalized for a few days. Anyway, when I got to the ER, they were worried that I wouldn't make it (broken skull in a few places, one pretty close to my spinal cord). My girlfriend was in the room with me, and later explained that I had an hour long conversation with my mother like she was in the room with me. My mother had died about a year before this happened, so my girlfriend was very worried at this point. Needless to say I made it through the experience, but some people say I have never been the same since.

Ok here is a weird thing that happened...I started a thread once about ATV accidents and someone posted that very same day about a ATV accident he had. hmmmm

Kinda lame and it may be common with others as well, but it seems weird too me.

I live on the top floor of my building in the corner unit. Sometime in the Spring I was home alone and heard a loud thud and a high pitch scratching noise in the bedroom. I went to check it out and a perfect sillouette of a large bird was scratched on the window. Its happened a handful of times since then, only when I'm at home alone, and its a large black bird that hits the window and leaves the sillouette with the sprawled wings and everything. So, about 3 weeks ago I'm leaving work on a Saturday and I'm walking to my car in the parking lot and a large black bird is sitting on my luggage rack just staring at me. I looked at it for a bit and finally swung my lunch box at it to get it to fly off.

Like I said, maybe that's a common thing for people, but it always seems to happen when I'm by myself.

Didn't figure I would post my story there because I don't recall the details of the accident, only being in the hospital a few days later. Everyone on that post describes the accident in great detail which I can't do.
