Cassel on NFL network Patriots vs Jets

That guy needs to learn how to slide when he scrambles. He does seem to have a nice touch on short/med routes as well.

Anyone else watching?

I dont agree IIRC I read someplace that there was only a .14 correlation between a teams regular-season record and its playoff record. Let me see if I can find that study.

With Cassel, it's all about the starts and the reps. For a guy who practically warmed a bench his whole career, he had an amazing season last year.

We know he's intelligent enough to work a sophisticated system, and we know he's got leadership abilities.
Now, it's about how much further can he grow? What is his ceiling in all phases of the position? This is what we will be finding out over the next two seasons.

Home field advantage is a confounding element because it is based on playoff seeding, which is tied closely to regular season records. Home teams won 52 of 80 playoff games, or 65%. That is higher than the regular season home team win rate of about 60%.

The win rate of 65% for teams with a better record and the 65% home team win rate suggest that regular season records do mean something in the playoffs.
At least he's honest. Good read, and Rep!

So again. Please explain to me how not making the playoffs is better than making the playoffs.

I saw it. If Moss would have been able to keep running he would have caught it.

Cinderella is more effective as a children's book than a mojo bag for a team with talent deficiency?
The most grueling four quarters you'll ever watch, resulting in the inevitable?
