Romo has the talent to do good things, he has good players around him as well.

However, once he starts getting pressured his i.q. drops 50 points.
He is not a big game quarterback. That may change in the future but it's not looking very likely.

He needs a big name coach to come in and work with him. Wade's just not cutting the mustard.

He's not a big game QB?

Of course not...easy to say when he loses.

Lets all get together and watch the Cowboys/Giants postseason game from 2007...and then after the game I want you all to look me in the eye and tell me Tony Romo is the reason they lost that game and he's not a big game QB.

Hootie, dude... Really?

Even a blind squrrel finds a nut occasionally. The guy loses more big games then wins. What's the guys record in potential season ending games?
I'm not here to argue. You have your opinion, and I have mine. Big numbers and wins can be, (and often are) two different things.

the hilarious thing about this is...

Romo has been a starter for 3 full years now...

This is really the 1st bad playoff game he's ever played...and the Cowboys were clearly the inferior team...1 to 53...

but we're going to put the loss on Romo's shoulders because it's convenient.

you know what really hurts me?

I have to finally admit to my Brett Favre biased roommates that he MIGHT NOT actually be the overrated piece of shit I've painted him to be the past 6 years of our lives.

He is truly playing the part of "Brett Favre: The Legend!" this year and he's doing it without much help from Adrian Peterson.

Best pump fake I've ever seen.

Oh, and btw Hootie, I agree that Palmer's overated, (especially since his injuries.)
The dude started out on fire, but since the knee went out, he's not the same guy.

I said all along Carson Palmer was super overrated and had little to do with the success of the Bengals...and you, Mecca...were all over the early season success (even though it was the Bengals winning with a good running game and solid defense, like I stated)...mecca even started a thread claiming Palmer was an MVP candidate...

oh...

and mecca bashing me because I said Chris Johnson was the best running back in the NFL before the season?

Or me nailing the NFC 1-6 in the midseason playoff contest? How many did you get right hamas?

Just because you come up with clever insults doesn't mean you know what the **** you are talking about...

Just remember you did take Vernon Gholston #1 overall...and college football is supposedly your "specialty"...

You don't know ANYTHING =)

No, the fact that you only ever can come up with one thing to bash me on and there is a Library of Congress to drop on you shows who really knows more than the other.

And FTR, please check out the last two years of my draft picks. I even updated the '09 picks for you the other day.

Peyton Manning completed 30-of-44 passes for 246 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception to lead the Colts over the Ravens in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, 20-3.
Manning averaged just 5.6 yards per attempt against a tough Ravens defense, but he was able to lead the offense on multiple scoring drives with a short, controlled attack. He also brilliantly convinced coach Jim Caldwell to eschew a field goal attempt in favor of one more shot at the end zone just before the half, effectively putting a low-scoring game out of reach. Manning and the Colts will host the Jets-Chargers winner next week.

You're right, a proper game manager wouldn't have coughed up that pick.
