minor league games are almost done. Moustakas had kind of an ok day and wont get another at-bat unless they bat around. Hosmer was blanked.

oh hey, looks like the Naturals tied the game in the top of the 9th. If they send it to the 10th, Moustakas could get another shot at it tonight.

... and Springfield, in trouble with runner on 2nd 1 out, went ahead and intentionally walked Moustakas. He'll probably end the day 0/3 with 2 walks.

One has to wonder what is up with Rusty Kuntz? He chose to work with the minor league team this year and once Trey was gone he is back on "the big team". Was there possibly some tension there? From what I have read, heard and seen, Trey was not as popular as maybe he thought he was. You have to wonder if the players felt like they were playing for a joke of a Manager? I know Olivo had issues with Trey. Time will tell about the attitude of the players now that Trey is gone and a legit manager is in, even if he is interim.

Lots of losing and they guy never played a game in the majors...he was in over his head and the honeymoon ended fast.

Moustakas had a costly error tonight in the 13th that eventually turned out to be the game-loser. game ended with 2 outs on a bases loaded walkoff Wild Pitch
