Religion in Kc/football/sports/
The Sheffield injury was awful, but I thought it was very cool to see the players go out on the field in prayer. In our culture and media today we seldom see religious expression and I was rather proud to see my favorite team, in a sport I love so much, do this.

I couldn't help but wonder if an injury occured on a movie set whether the cast and crew would have done the same.

Very happy to see that he is alright.

Like I said I didn't intend to turn this into a debate I just thought it was a cool thing to see when it happened. I guess, given the thread title and the movie set comment, I was asking for it.

Because the OP was about Kansas City Chiefs players gathering on the field in prayer for a fallen teammate. That makes it a Chiefs/religion/football thread.

I'm sure you knew what the title of the thread was before you decided to read it, rather than get away from this type of "stuff".
