Go watch all 8 Chiefs home games. Then go watch their 8 road games. Then come back and tell me there's another team in the league that plays so much differently at home than on the road. There's not one. I don't care what the Ravens do on the road, they're at Arrowhead now. And no, I really honestly believe that the Chiefs will more than likely win the game.

Arrowhead's home field advantage won't do much to the Ravens. They have already played in tough places this season, and this is their 4th straight year in the playoffs. They are used to crowd noise. Sadly, Arrowhead's playoff noise has not been a factor in 17 years. It would be sweet if that changes on Sunday, but the Ravens are used to crowd noise. So, my guess is that the crowd noise as little effect on them.

That's not going to stop me from screaming my head off, though.

The Ravens are big, tough and experienced.

The Chiefs have speed that the Ravens will not be able to match.

After the game, the big takeaway from this game will be that the Chiefs won the game because of speed on defense and speedy playmakers on offense and special teams.

for all of you praying for a fast chief's start: don't count on it, and dont be discouraged when you dont get it. the ravens start fast but have no killer instinct whatsoever, specifically cam cameron and the offense. grey redstar is dead on in that aspect

they have had 10 point leads over new england and buffalo in the 4th quarter and blew both of those. we had a 28-7 lead against houston and, if not for a big pick-6 in overtime, the texans have another 85+ yard drive to win the game. against tampa and cincy we had two touchdown leads and they had the ball to win or tie the game at the end but couldnt. and we sat on the ball the entire 2nd half against the steelers

we let teams hangaround and have not put teams away all season. in the games afforementioned we have been outscored in the 4th quarter 59-3 so if the chiefs are down by two touchdowns in the 4th (which i expect them to be) dont count them out

dont get me wrong, the ravens are a very talented team but i expect this game to be very close. hopefully the chiefs comeback falls just short
BAL 24
KC 20

good luck and congrats on a great season. GO RAVENS!!!
That's the big thing I took away from looking at their schedule... they can play with anyone, but seem to keep both teams in the game. They're 3-2 in road playoff games in the past couple of years, and completely dismantled NE in the first quarter in Foxboro last year, so while Arrowhead will be rocking and (I certainly hope) there will be a definite advantage, I don't expect them to curl into the fetal position on the sidelines.

I get a weird vibe between looking at the stats and reading what people on both sides are saying about the game... Ravens fans, at most, seem cautiously optimistic, even though their strength matches up well with the Chiefs' strength, and they won more games while playing a much tougher schedule. OTOH, it's not a terrible matchup for the Chiefs if they can get JC outside and maybe work the screen game... the Ravens are 3rd from the bottom in sacks, and like you said, they don't have a killer instinct.

I think it'll be close and fairly low-scoring... my heart says the Chiefs make enough plays to come out on top, but my brain says the Ravens will keep them at arms length and get it done.

yes, i agree 100% see, for the last couple of years us ravens fans have watched a team that has very much underachieved. this year, we have all the talent at every position that anyone could possibly ask for. we just do not show up in the second half of football games. our coordinaters dont play to win, they play not to lose. and a lot of times they do. they pissed away leads against new england, atlanta, and pittsburgh the second time. so while there's no team that we feel we cant compete with, there's no team we feel we can beat handily. cautiously optimistic is a perfect way of putting it

Yesterday i would have said the birds, but today after a good nights rest i'll go with the Chiefs 24-10. No real reason but want to.

If I hadn't seen with my own two eyes what ****ing bitches we looked like on Sunday against the Raiders, I probably would have taken the Chiefs. That said, I sat there frozen, in my seat, watching us get raped by a 7-8 team playing for nothing. Our O folded, and the D was slapped around. Weiss is a **** - I hope that phat ***** dies of labiatic cancer.

I feel better now.......

Ya it does bother me that as soon as Cassel got body slammed on a vicious late hit the team responded by crawling into the corner and sucking their thumbs but next week will be different.

Ravens - 24

Chiefs - 13

I think the Ravens are going to be able to run the ball all over us and stuff our running game. But on any given Sunday, anything can happen, so we do have a chance...

The Chiefs could win if the Ravens D fails to show up and the game turns into a shootout. The Bills and Texans both came close to beating them in high scoring games. I think the last thing the Chiefs want is a low scoring slugfest.
