Aaron Murray, anyone?

Just watched him today, and he looks solid. They even said that Tony Dungy advised that if he comes out early that the Chiefs should take him with the number one pick.

What sayeth the group?

Any of the QB's in the discussion that could be had at #8 would be good. Then we MAY still be reaching but atleast we solve it and pick up another good pick, Hell say buffalo does the deal, we swap and we get their second. We could use their first and second round picks on Qb's and use OUR second round pick on say a CB or LT if need be. So we'd be filling our #1 need with 2 very high picks while also filling another area of need with another high pick. win win
No it really isn't. Three of those guys look like very good college quarterbacks. One looks like he can step into the NFL and be a star.

we could potentialy fill 3 of our holes in the 1st 2 rounds and cover the rest in FA.
So with the Jaguars, Raiders, Eagles, Browns, Cardinals, Bills and of course the Chiefs all needing a QB you want to trade back behind all of these teams. And then still think there will be one of the top QBs there? That does not make sense at all.

If another team wants to trade up for a QB, why would we not just take said QB? We have the first overall pick, we need to evaluate the best QB in the class and take him.

If we trade down and hope to take the 1 that falls, and one doesn't fall, what then?

Andy Reid being Andy Reid, I have full confidence that he views geno as the best qb in the draft, and one who can do a lot of great things at the next level under his guidance.

I'm saying if you're a message board hero extolling the merits of the other quarterbacks in the class over Geno Smith, you're stupid or you haven't watched them all play side by side.

Wilson isn't as accurate, Barkley is lesser in every measurable category except whiteness, Bray's delivery leaved a lot to be desired and **** Aaron Murray just because.

Smith 2013!

Smith and Wilson then it drops off to Barkley, Glennon then it drops off again to Bray, Murray, Nassib and so on.
If we trade back further than Jaguars we will miss out on the best QB's this season has to offer.

Another question, if you do in fact trade down and Smith, Barkley and Wilson are off the board, who do you take?

So we are going to trade out of the #1 spot and drop to #8 for a second round pick? Are you crazy making that trade?

bray, glennon, nassib are the next 3 that will probably slide to round 2. So then we take 1 of them that we like at #34 and use buffalo's second on another one if need be.

I mean this is all heresay cause who knows that going to happen. Maybe we bring in a vet and only want 1 QB, maybe reid like alex smith bring him in and doesn't want to use our 1st rounder on a QB but would rather take one in the second or third. Who the hell really knows, all i'm saying is it could go a thousand different ways and none of us know. I just pray we get the right players in FA aswell as Rookies to make this team the best in the NFL..
