X and O Guys - How Did Denver Just Shut down the Chiefs Blitz?
All with football acumen please help me understand. Why didn't the Chiefs Defense touch 5 head, neck bone at least once or twice?

That's exactly the case. KC only blitzed 6 times the whole game.

Regarding not calling the holding penalties, the Bolts fans were spot on with their take that hardly any would be called. Tamba Hali was put in a choke hold all night to the point where I'm beginning to think that there is a completely new definition of holding allowed when Manning is in the pocket. Just amazing. Non calls are part of the game and it can be argued that holding occurs somewhere on every play, but to repeatedly grab a guy around the neck with your forearm as he tries to get past you is holding all day long - except when the Manning Doctrine is applied.

Chiefs got jobbed. Donkey fans can jump up and down because they think they're great, but they needed the refs to win that game in Denver.

If that game has consistent officiating, KC wins.

The being said, offense sucks. Can't tell if it's the qb, the line, the WRs, the playcalling...but 17 points on the road won't win in this league anymore. It just won't.

Perhaps the DC should be made to answer for that... I'm not saying there was a conspiricy, I'm just saying that it's a valid question for a D that had so many sacks in the first 7 games of the year. One would assume that after two quarters of finding out that A) holding isn't going to be called (Manning doctirne!!!!!!), B) that Manning is getting it out in 2.9 seconds (on average), then C) int he second half you didn't even bother to try it once...

OK, why coach? Yeah, people are saying you might be on the take, we don't think so we love your defense, but unless you tell us why (defend yourself) the rumor is only going to get spread more widely... So why coach, why not one double-A gap blitz?
