I'm thinking you should up the height to 6' 8" and above, with bright orange skin. Alex might even see them then.

Too bad we don't have 2 first round picks because we have to fix the OL.

The Chiefs should definitely go for someone at a safe position, like OL (Trezelle Jenkins, Eric Fisher), or DL (Tyson Jackson, Glenn Dorsey, Ryan Sims), rather than WR.

Not necessarily. The kid might be better served to be outside the state (though I think concerns about him being in-state and becoming a drug kingpin or something with his money are overblown), and there certainly is risk with him.
If they pass on him to do something else at the WR spot, I won't be terribly upset as long as it is a high-upside guy. I can sacrifice some of DGB's upside (Which is higher than any other WR in the draft because of his physical attributes) for a higher "floor"/less risk. If they pass on WR to draft another T, it's going to be fairly disappointing. But... Chiefs... so that's probably what will happen. It's not like any Mizzou fans supporting the idea of drafting DGB or signing Maclin in FA are clamoring for borderline talents here. A pairing of Maclin and DGB would be pretty sick, regardless of which school they went to. Because both are big-time beasts with crazy physical skills. Having not one but TWO starting WRs who can take the top off of a defense sure would suck, wouldn't it?

Take the best WR available. The WR should be here much longer than Smith.
