No offense but it really says something about your personality when a decent chunk of the board thinks they get along better with people who wish injuries on players or make sexual depictions about whatever than they can with you.

Part of me actually wants to see Alex Smith have a horrid, pants-shittingly, worst QB performance of all time just to see if that'll shut you up for a week.

It won't. You'll hear about:

1. The offensive line didn't give him long enough.
2. Reid's playcalling set him up for failure.
3. No running game.
4. His playmakers didn't help him out.

Have I said the offensive unit was excellent? I said they would be fine once they got Maclin back into the system. Unfortunately, our running game has taken an absolute nose dive compared to last year's standards. Smith's TD % is at its lowest since he's been a Chief, and a lot of that has to do with Maclin out and Reid's play calling. Look in the GDT, I was critical of Smith (especially mid range throws) and Reid. I was also critical of the defensive stand on the last drive. Blame goes all across the board.

Win as a team, lose a team. What I will NOT do is think like a simple minded gorilla and blame the QB for all of this team's issues.

So...you cherry-picking one comment to fit a narrative proves nothing.

Offense has room for improvement but it's not as gloom and doom as you think it to be. Running was the strength of this team last year, in fact, this board was pimping Ware and crticial of Smith for "holding us back" in 2015. Funny how the narrative changes in 2016 and the offense is still top 12 in efficiency with a 10-4 team record but all people on here want to do is chase Smith out of town when he has clearly played a huge role in every single division game.

He's here to stay for at least another 13 months. Deal with it.

People always point to Smith's record, but he was on a Super Bowl caliber team in San Francisco, and, for the most part, a pretty talented team during his time in KC. It's not like he's been putting a team like the Browns on his shoulders and leading them to respectability.

I'm a huge Chiefs fan, and as such, I really want to like Alex as a player. But I just can't. I watched a replay of the Bears/Packers game last night. Other than 2 throws (his 3rd INT was on a Hail Mary at the end of the 1st half), Matt Barkley threw the ball downfield light-years better than Smith. He also steps up in the pocket better than Smith, who seems to shit himself at the first sign of pressure.

Smith's one redeemable quality as a QB was his ability to avoid the crucial interception. If he's not at least doing that (i.e. the Tampa and Tennessee games), he just doesn't bring anything to the table that some stiff off the scrap heap couldn't bring.

I have not heard a single person say Smith has put the team on his back. Not one. Now is he carrying his weight as a solid game manager getting paid well under the league average at $14 million/year over the course of 5 years? I would say a vast majority of the time.

You don't get to 20-4, win a playoff game, save a season doomed at 1-5 by playing like Cassel.

Yes it is the same thing. Tigeruppercut turns every goddamn thread into an Alex Smith apologist thread. Much in the same way Clay would make every thread an Alex Smith hatred thread.

If one gets banned for derailing threads the other should as well.

Wouldn't it be the shits if TigerUp is actually a Claynus mult? It would be like the ending of one of those movies where characters keep ripping off rubber masks that look like other characters in the film.

Then it turns out we were all Dane McCloud all along.

c'mon man.. you really don't process what you read. I can't believe this isn't getting through to you. Anyone else know how to make it more clear?

Clay vocally expresses joy when KC loses or struggles. He vocally prays for injuries to KC players he doesn't like.

TU does nether of these things.

Despite the extreme siding and opinions (call it trolling if you really must) of the two... THE BOLDED ALONE clearly separates them.

Any chance you understand the distinction now?

Or if I was actually a Chiefs fan for the last 40 years, and hated the Alex Smith acquisition from day one?

I don't know if it would "be the shits"... whatever that means.. but for some, it would be masterful brilliance. To me, it would just be a pathetic waste of time and effort.
