The NFL will have to eventually go to full time refs. They can't keep trotting out teachers and HS football coaches to ref these games.

With gambling being legalized more and more people will turn their ire to the refs with claims of rigged etc, possibly even enough to warrant an investigation.

Eventually the betting sports world will force this league to hire full time refs. Until then, any team can get ****ed on any given sunday.

What were the penalties for each team before 28-17. Then what were they after that? I’m guessing it goes from like 2-2 to 10-3 in favor of the Bengals. And how many first downs did they get on penalties in the second half on third down plays? I know at least two.

I'm infinitely more pissed at the 3rd and 27 defensive call - and for the absolute refusal to adjust regarding pass coverage the entire game than with the officiating.

Bad coaching, dropped passes, bad penalties, 3 points in the 2nd half...

Hope this was a wake up call. Shame they made it harder on themselves in the playoffs. Could have really used that week off.
