What do you EXPECT tomorrow?
Not what you want to happen but what are some things you expect to happen during the game tomorrow, good or bad?

I expect it to be ugly. Baltimore will kick our ass quite a bit on both sides of the ball. I expect to lose the turnover battle. I expect Mahomes to will the team to a close game and give us a chance in the fourth quarter despite the fact that the Ravens are the better team on paper.

I expect to be down by as much as 14 at halftime, with a few miscues derailing a couple of good drives (a boneheaded turnover, or “penalties” negating an explosive play or two).

Then….

What worked offensively for Baltimore in the first half, ceases. The Chiefs quickly find a rhythm and score. Then score again. Baltimore gets a field goal and goes up by three with five minutes remaining. We witness a steady and methodical 75 yard drive that forces the Ravens to use all of their timeouts. CEH scores the go ahead TD with 30 seconds or so remaining. Chiefs 21, Ravens 17. Lamar has one last chance to prove he can be the hero to lead Baltimore past KC into the Super Bowl.

Don’t forget Mahomes was playing with a turf toe injury that required surgery a few days after the game. There was also the horrible drunk driving accident by Coach Reid’s son right before the game, which caused a dark cloud and massive distraction for the coaches and players.

Well... I didnt mean it would be decided by a missed Tucker FG. I think it will go back and forward until the Chiefs claim the final lead and shut the ravens down in the 4th. Chiefs defense is the best second half defense in the league. Lamar doesn't play well in close games and this being his first time on this big of a stage (college or pro), and I just don't see him winning this game in the 4th.

75 seconds remaining. Down 4. 1 timeout. 75 yards to go. I can't see Lamar winning a game like that. And that's what its taken to knock Mahomes out of the AFCCG.

Gotta be honest I feel less confident without Thuney and maybe Pacheco. I figured we might have a chance to run all over them if the WRs looked crap, and that would really help the offense. I love the idea of a CEH redemption story arc but...

Really I feel the same way as I did against the Eagles. They have a more talented roster across the board imo and if we win it's because we have the better QB and HC. But to do that we need to get everything right and maybe get a little good fortune.
