@DMRussini

The Raiders are requesting an interview with Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo for their head-coaching spot, per sources.
Our old rival trying to cause distractions for us as we head into the playoffs.

I’m told his sole focus is on coaching and recruiting for North Carolina, as he continues building the Tar Heels’ future. He’s recruiting today in New Jersey.
Yeah about what I expected. He's basically the king of a small country at this point. He and his son are set at UNC. He'd be a fool to come back to the NFL.

They also traded Adams, which didn't help the QB any.

They at least got Brock Bowers out of this season, who is already awesome.

But yeah, their future always looks bleak with that ownership and not having a real home field advantage. Since I've been a football fan, the only time the Raiders didn't suck were those four seasons between 1999-2003 after Carl and Marty gifted them Rich Gannon.

To a team that doesn't have a QB and isn't in a great spot to actually get one.

No, I think Belichick is a real 'legacy' guy and I don't think he can do anything but hurt himself on that front by going to LV.

Now if for some reason the Cowboys decided to go after him, that could be interesting. Because they have Parsons, Lamb and a guy in Prescott that is...fine. He also has the sort of skill set that I think BB can work with.

And maybe that's why Jones is keeping McCarthy. Let BB get a year in at NC so he doesn't completely piss on a contract where the ink is still wet. Then in 2026 he comes back to Dallas to make a run at the all time wins record?

But no, I can't see a way he comes back to the NFL to coach Oakland and potentially reinforce the whispers that the guy is nothing without Brady and the game has passed him by. There's no upside to it to speak of.

It's the Chargers I have the most trouble with; I am accustomed to the faid moving around some - in fact I will some times call them the the LV Vagabonds - but to me the Chargers will always be in San Diego.

The Chargers are easy to me because of my life as a Lakers fan.

LAL and LAC has always been easy shorthand for me to remember.

So with the Chargers, LAC just rolls right off the ol' keyboard.

Raiders have now fired their GM Tom Telesco.

I thought they were going to keep him as his draft was good last year. Seems the Raiders are just all over the place.

Hopefully Mark Davis hires a GM and lets him do the rest.

Rumor for the Pink Slip thread is Ben Johnson wants some personnel control so they shitcanned Telesco.

If that's true, I'm going to go ahead and call my shot. Ben Johnson will be a mediocre head coach.

I think Tom Brady has taken over as unofficial GM and has Marks ear.

Tom is very tight with John Spytek at Tampa.

Things are getting interesting.

Not saying good, just interesting.

It’s wild to fire a GM less than a year after hiring them, especially one that didn’t make any real objectionable roster moves(even if he did end up being shit the precedent is still give them a couple years). This is either really smart, or really stupid. I don’t yet fully trust Brady and his influence, but I sure am intrigued by aggressiveness. We shall see.

It seems better then having a lame duck coach searching for an OC.

Tom Brady can F off! I don't even wanna see his face and now he's running the Raiders? NFL owners should have blocked this. Raiders always had to hire nobody coaches and GMs because no one wants to work for that loser franchise. We don't need Brady in there. Roger needs to step in.
