Making 3s at a decent clip (36.5% last year, 41.7% so far this year) is about the only thing Selden has going for him. The rest of his game is pretty horrific.

Yeah, I know he seems to shoot them pretty well when taking only a few per game, but I feel like this will just encourage him to sit back and shoot more. Probably has more to do with me just hating his game overall

The good news is the talent level nationally is abysmal this year. Nowhere near the top-shelf teams of last year. AZ went 36-3 and couldn't even make the FF, and ND/Gonzaga last season would be faves this year.

Big 12 has 3 teams who were Sweet 16 caliber last year and they're all back, while the top teams lost their studs. 3 teams in the 6-10 range. One should break thru to the FF.

I'm confused. There's a secret society passing around Greene's reason for suspension. The drug test failure makes sense, but on here, it's been told that's not the case. In the words of Herm Edwards: Put Your Name On It.

I guess it was just an argument after the Mich State game with Self about playing time. Then coach made Brannens parents come down to the locker room to talk about it. Seems silly to do that when Green is probably 20 or 21. Dont think Green handled the situation well but Self certainly didnt either. 6 games for arguing with your coach? Maybe Matt Harvey of the Mets needs a 6 game suspension in 2016.

It's just game two but I saw the exact same team as last year against MSU. No improvement yet (might happen, might not, that's college hoops). Maybe won't be any at all. People talk about this team being deep. The trouble is this team is deep with average talent. A lot of quantity over quality with this team. It doesn't matter if you have depth if that depth isn't very good. And some people are mad at a veteran team for giving up a 13 point and an 11 point lead. They're mad at a veteran team with experience gave up those leads. Well if a veteran team doesn't have a killer instinct then that experience means nothing. That falls under them just not being that good. A lot of these players just haven't been what we expected them to be. Sucks.

Self does deserve some blame. He's not perfect (IMO he hasn't coached well since that 2013 S16 loss to Michigan). The fact that he doesn't play through the strengths of this squad is downright mind-boggling and shows arrogance and stubbornness.

Now we'll lose two more times the rest of the year and cut down the nets in Houston. I hope so. But the Royals have sweetened any possible sports sorrow for about two or three years for me. I've been waiting for that for awhile lol. So bring it, Chiefs and KU, can't hurt me bitches!!
