****Official Golf Thread****

The original Bushwood thread is overflowing like Craig Stadler's FUPA.

Use this thread to discuss tournaments, swing thoughts, equipment, and golf deals.

I thought we could also use the OP to create a WITB for ChiefsPlanet members. I'll list a poster's name and put their sticks in a spoiler tag, so you can see what everyone is carrying.

I had no idea they renamed it. It's a beautiful course and long. Have you played Buffalo Ridge before? Are you playing the Springs or the Valley's? (Springs was Branson Creek and Valley's was Murder Rock). Two very nice courses as well. I have not been on them since they have been renovated.

If anyone is looking for a new driver, I highly recommend the King Cobra LTD. It's amazing. Very LONG and forgiving.

The valleys course is no more at this point. It's a big dirt pile that they're completely rebuilding.

They've done alot of work at branson creek but mostly esthetic. Not alot of course change

Shaping up to be a good weekend at the PGA.

Speaking of the PGA champ, it's probably my 2nd fav major right now. I like to see them able to shoot good scores and make birdies and I always like the courses they play.

Just to update on my golf, I've got my semifinal match tomorrow for our club championship. Won my first round match 4 and 3, guy I beat was struggling a bit. I imagine it'll be a lot different tomorrow, as the guy I've got was a 4 year collegiate player at South Carolina. SHould be fun.

I heard that this was a very good driver if you had a reasonably high swing speed. Not so good for slower swing speeds. Anyway, congrats on the new stick!!!

If anyone can tolerate Nike golf equipment, they just macheted prices on their entire Vapor line of woods. You can get either driver for 149, fairway for 99, or hybrid for 89.

Well, I know most of you were on the edge of your seat to know, but I got knocked out I'm the semis again.

I made 2 birdies, 6 pars and a bogey and was 4 down thru 9 holes. Buzz sawed on the front.

Made a little comeback to get back to 1 down, then he made 2 birdies and finished me off 3 and 2.

Aucks, but atleast he beat me and I didn't just beat myself.

Love watching the amateur match play tourneys. The girls match had both pairs on the clock with penalty 1 hole lost. They would hit their drives, then sprint to their next shot. Of course the slow girl that put them in that situation won. Bitch.

Wow, must be an unreal feeling to know you can bogey the 18th and still shoot 59.
