I may have copied the lineup from a round where you had traded that pick, I'll fix it.

Check it out now - is that right?

Ok....we need a better way of doing this.

Let me know if this will work for everyone.

I'd like to take the rules and divisions text from the OP and place it in it's own thread. Then we can take the header and make that the draft order for the entire draft (or as much as will fit. That way we can actually keep track of who drafts where and who is up next.

Let me know if this works for everyone. Rainman...you're included too...since it's your thread and all.

I was thinking about putting it in the draft forum....that way it would be someplace that wouldn't get moved down the page too fast.

I'm cool with that... Then you could update the post starter with the picks so everyone would be able to see it there too if you wanted

Ok, would anyone with the picks below be interested in trading? Either out of your R9 pick or down from that spot in R10?

I would be intersted in getting into the later stage of R9 or moving up into that top part of R10.

I'm not interested in moving my next R9 pick, I'm keeping #12... I have 2 picks in R10, 12 and 13 to bargain with - no R11 pick and no rookies.

If interested, let me know.

Round 9
13. Chattanooga Choo-Choos -
14. Las Vegas Red Lights -
15. St. Louis Commodes -
16. Bradenton Super-Manatees -
17. Knoxville Kiffins -
18. Milwaukee Mud Ducks -
19. Atlantic City Hitmen -

Round 10
19. Atlantic City Hitmen -
18. Milwaukee Mud Ducks -
17. Knoxville Kiffins -
16. Bradenton Super-Manatees -
15. St. Louis Commodes -
14. Las Vegas Red Lights -
13. Chattanooga Choo-Choos

Sure, anything that would help keep the trading of picks straight for everyone is a good thing.

So, are you suggesting creating a new thread in DRAFTPLANET that is only there for the DRAFT ORDER and any changes (with a link to that thread) in the edited OP of this thread... right?

We'll still be using this thread for the picks, etc... or are you going a different route?

Okie-dokie, a few announcements:

1. I think I have all of the trades up to date in the header. If you see any problems, let me know and reference the post that corrects my problem.

2. One owner strongly objects to the idea of including the rookie draft as an insert into the veteran draft, so I think we should keep the plan as scheduled: finish the veteran draft and then do the rookie draft. Honestly, I think this is more realistic anyway, as teams have a roster in place before they enter the rookie draft in real life.

3. I haven't heard any objections, so in Round 34 of the veteran draft we will have a "remainder round" where people draft teams and can then fill out their roster with any undrafted veterans from that team. I think this, like the veteran draft itself, will be a one-time event. Edit: maybe it's more fair to randomize this draft order. If no one has an objection, we'll draw a new random order for the "remainder round".

I was thinking of having two threads.

There would be a thread in Draftplanet that contained the rules and any other information.

This thread would then be updated with the draft order. Since it's 33 rounds...I'm pretty sure it couldn't handle updating it with everyone's picks...but it could be updated for trades. So it would only contain the order for the draft picks of each round and it could be updated with trades. This way everyone knows what they're drafting and it's at the very top.

Yeah pretty much. That way people can refer back to that thread for the rules and this thread would be for the draft. Plus it'd be easier to keep track of the trades because you could actually get to see where your picks are at in the thread starter.

Wait a minute. I'm not seeing that Greenville traded their 9th rounder to Philadelphia, and Greenville sent me their pick. MHM's board is showing Philadelphia on the clock. Can anyone confirm whether Greenville and Philadelphia made a trade or not?

(amid controversy from the MML war-room and shouting from the defensive coordinator, the pick has been made)

In the 9th round of this wild ass freaking draft with the 12th selection... the Memphis Malt Liquor selects, WR - Roy Williams (Dallas).

Yes, several different things here I considered... but the upside is huge now that he is "the guy" and as a #3 option, I just couldn't pass it up.

ChooChoos are on the clock...

Anquan Boldin, WR
TJ Houshmandzadeh, WR
Roy Williams, WR
Greg Olsen, TE
