AAPL is an interesting 1-minute chart to watch right now. Keeps trying to crack $146 but dip-buyers are bouncing it. Tug-of-war going on. If $146 cracks it's going to take out a lot of stop-losses, all the dip-buyers will be out, and it will speed up to the downside.

$146 stop-losses just got taken out. Now we'll see if the HFT algos start buying and reverse it, or if it fades to $140.

Grabbed some AAPL 5/13 $140 puts for 52¢ right here just for fun.

Not much of a closing bounce even though tons of shorts were likely covering.

I think it tests $140 tomorrow, but if I'm wrong my position is small enough not to matter. Risking a couple hundred to potentially make a couple thousand.

Just sold those AAPL 5/13 $140 Puts I posted about yesterday at $2.20. Only had 5 at 52¢, so paid $260 and sold for $1,100. Not too shabby for about ten minutes of actual market time.

I had (2) APPL $150 puts I bought earlier in the week for $1.22. I sold them way too early.

If AAPL cracks $140 it could bring the whole mkt down with it. Real close right here, at $140.15 as I type this.

I'm embarrassed but $1.45 and rolled down into the $149 and did the same there. Made money in both but left a TON behind.

I have left $50,000 in profits in TILRAY at the end of March when I had 220 contracts that shot up, then another $160,000 in FB when it shot up to $9,000 on a $1020 investment and I wanted to sell and buy puts but had too many day trades.

I've been so right on knowing what direction but oh so wrong on getting out early on the winners and riding the dogs down to $0.

Story of my life!

Can't beat yourself up, you were on the right track. That's all that matters in the overall scheme of things. I've left enough potential profits on the table to feed a large army. Trading is tough, have to learn to manage risk and emotions. The PDT rule sucks, so glad I don't have to deal with it anymore. Might've actually saved me when I was getting started though. Makes you save your bullets for the best trades.

Looks like things are bouncing. Actually pretty decent sell on my $140 puts. They hit a high of $2.45, so $2.20 ended up being a pretty good place to bail.

Speaking of selling too soon, a buddy of mine who's in the same trading group as me texted me about 30 minutes ago saying he bought 7 Tesla $700 Calls at $15 this morning during the first dip. He got in a bit too soon and went red as it kept dropping, so he panicked and sold when he got back to breakeven. Those $700 calls are selling for around $50 right now, so he left over $20k on the table.

I did buy 170 calls on Tilray (TLRY) at an average of $3.59 per contract this morning. Right now they are at $11.00
