@AdamSchefter: Chiefs are expected to trade CB Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams, sources tell ESPN. Teams are in final stages of talks and barring an unexpected snag, the trade is expected to be agreed to as early as today.

@AdamSchefter: Marcus Peters to LA Rams trade is now officially agreed to, per source; cannot be processed until March 14. But Peters expected to be a Ram.

Houston is gone too.

I'm not sure about that. 86 Peters SUB Berry and Fuller and that's a net gain.

I will miss his talent, but character still means something to me; means something to the Chiefs office. Man, sometimes He is impressive though... gonna miss that.
But why rush to trade him if you aren't getting value? It's one thing if we are selling high. We aren't. They are trading him on principal. We now have a bigger hole than we did before

Instead of using the Smith trade and cap room to fix the rest of the defense we are using it to replace Peters. If we don't get a guard in free agency because we sign a corner will people be thrilled?

Whoever replaces Peters will likely get paid more next year to be less effective. And getting money that could have gone somewhere else. There better have been a bunch behind the scenes we didn't know. Not this crap about the flag throw and national anthem (and that kneel pisses me off btw).

What market? THE LEAGUE YEAR HASN'T EVEN ****ING BEGUN.

Why let these negotations get leaked if the compensation isn't worked out yet? Why does Peters HAVE to go to the Rams? All we know is that's where he's going. Why is he going there if the compensation isn't agreed upon after 5 hours?

It's just so absurd.

"Congratulations, Rams! You've got yourselves a new CB!"

"Oh hey, thanks Veach. What do you want for him?"

"Let's work that out later. For now, just know that YOU GUYS are the new team for Marcus Peters!"

If I had to guess I think Peters made it very clear he doesn't want to be in KC with a rest now or forever hold your peace undertone.

Door, ass, he knows the drill.

Waiting to hear what the Chiefs got for Marcus Peters is as excruciating as watching Alex Smith play quarterback.

We needed to fix our secondary even with berry and Peters. We did with Fuller. We now are back to having to fix the secondary.
