The filming enabled the Patriots coaching staff to anticipate the defensive plays called by the opposing team. According to Walsh, he first filmed an opponents' signals during the August 20, 2000 pre-season game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. When Walsh asked whether the tape he had filmed was helpful, the offensive player said it had enabled the team to anticipate 75 percent of the plays being called by the opposing team.

The Patriots filmed opponents offensive signals in addition to defensive signals.

The Patriots took elaborate steps to conceal their filming of opponents' signals.

Patriots personnel instructed Walsh to use a "cover story" if anyone questioned him about the filming.

After the game, Charlie Weis, the Patriots' offensive coordinator, was reportedly overheard telling Tampa Bay's defensive coordinator, Monte Kiffin, "We knew all your calls, and you still stopped us."

I have a few movie recs for you in the mean-time.

I just watched them both -

One that is easier to find is Marrowbone the other is super hard to locate and older it's called The Reflecting Skin. Both good for Halloween time!!

Edelman and Gordon do indeed vault it to the best. Edelman has been our best and most valuable receiver since 2014. You know, the stretch that includes putting up the most points, going to 3 SBs, and winning 2 of them.

Chiefs fans can't comprehend any level of success outside of the month of September, though.
