Royals have given up the second fewest total runs in the AL. Second only to the Twins by 1, who have played 2 fewer games.

Despite that, the Royals run differential is only +2. Insanely good pitching, insanely bad hitting.

Can confirm per source: Cavan Biggio was optioned postgame today (transaction log was correct). Had to consent to the option because of 5+ years of service time.

Also notable: John Rave did not play for Omaha today. #Royals have open 40-man spots. Nothing official yet from team.

Assume this is for Rave or Devanney

And we may have, if his back would have held up. They can say he is healthy now. Bullshit. If your back is bad at the age Massey is, you’re done. He’ll kick around here a bit longer but he’ll be demoted at some point and I think that will be the last we hear from him. Kinda sad, actually.
