Hosmer will be on the lineup and I wouldn't put it past them to sign a CF either. I could see them bringing Dyson back how the prices are now.

He was looking for 3-4 years for about $10 million per initially.

Will likely land in the 2/15-18 range with the way things are trending.

Pairing Dyson with a Hosmer return would be nice.

It's not a bad strategy to log-jam what you think might be your next usable assets at AAA. I'd rather Mondesi be at SS in the bigs, but what they're doing isn't completely insane. Let 4-5 possible prospects for a potential next run play together at AAA this year and part of next year...hopefully develop a bit more...let guys like Duenez, Nicky Lopez, and a few of the pitchers catch up. If any of them pan out, you've gained an extra year of team control and hopefully by then, guys like Pratto, Melindez and Gigliotti (and whatever we draft this year) have moved through the system and aren't too far behind.

@jcrasnick: A couple of #MLB execs think Logan Morrison, a Kansas City native, has his eye on the #Royals as a landing spot if Eric Hosmer doesn't return. Hunter Dozier currently tops the 1B depth chart in K.C. Lomo and Lucas Duda are among the bats still available in painfully slow market.

From all of the interviews I’ve read, I don’t believe that DM is interested in bringing back Moustakas.

Personally, I want to see a full blown rebuild but of course, I wanted that last year, too.
