THE COUNTDOWN to the NFL TRADE DEADLINE THREAD - Tues. Oct. 29th @ 4:00p Eastern Time

I figured I would create one location to house all of the breaking news, rumors, pessimism, despair, helplessness, frustration, and of course optimism leading up to the 2019 NFL Trade Deadline on:

Tuesday, October 29th @ 4:00p Eastern Time

3 weeks from today! We all have ideas of what the Chiefs need so I won't go into that, but hopefully this day will come and go with better results than last year for us.

Time for some real investment.
Exactly. Finding 3 down LB’s is just extremely difficult. There’s a reason the Steelers were so aggressive in replacing Shazier.

I wonder if we could get a decent linebacker for Fuller and a pick.

He’s obviously not in future plans here.

with the change our defense has made toward the blitz...I'd almost be happier going with an oversized safety at LB. would fit our scheme better for coverage reasons.

Yea, I mean you may get lucky and find a guy outside of the 1st like Deion Jones or Bobby Wagner, but the truth is most of those guys go in the early part of the 1st.

I don't know of any decent LB'ers that are for trade that don't have a big contract though.

Our starting trio of LBs right now are way too ****ing slow. Ragland is actually the fastest of the 3 based on 40 time. That is hilarious and depressing.

Yep.

Sadly, they tend to go really high if they're legit and then end up on shit teams for their career.

Sad face.

Hopefully House starts getting a return for Lee and DOD. Both have coverage ability.

Lber's that can play 3 downs and run are hard to find and get drafted pretty early for the most part.

Best thing to do would be to not have your LB's have to cover RB's split out wide like we seem to do.
