Yep....great ****ing discussion going on in there.
I also think it's extremely fair to note that the media center is largely a reflection of the conversations being had OUTSIDE of CP.

I mean sure - throwaway insanity from PB aside.

But again, Obi Wan was trending for 2 days BECAUSE of Disney and the 'racism' tweets. And that thread is still 90% movie talk. Near as I can see nobody is calling dinosaurs racist online so I'm not seeing pushback in the Jurassic Park thread.

The Boys got pretty overtly political last season. The Joker had entire thinkpieces written on 'giving a voice to incels' or whatever. Meanwhile the overwhelming majority of the threads in the MC aren't exactly awash in the sort of muck you're claiming they are. Just the ones that are politicized OUTSIDE of the CP environment. Nothing you're seeing in the Media center is as a result of DC. At all.

It's just a reflection of what's happening elsewhere in entertainment spheres. If you're not on other forms of social media, I'd say you're simply ascribing an improper cause to your angst here. It's classic spurious correlation thing.

I was a democrat when I joined this website. After enough time in DC, I became a republican. Thats a win for cP and society at large. DC stays!

And the dude got bounced.

Seems disingenuous to claim that as some sort of common occurrence.

And BOTH of those are absolutely being treated the same way outside of CP. These conversations are being everywhere else and getting rid of DC won't change that.

Now I can't speak to the first 2 so I suspect that A) Moon Knight just wasn't big enough and B) Love and Thunder hasn't actually dropped yet but that will turn up a bit as it gets closer.

It's not DC that's doing that. I mean, I have MY opinions on what's doing that, but I suspect this isn't the place to discuss them.

I'm shocked a largely conservative forum would vote for status quo.
