It's a shame that some Chiefs fans don't want to be better than we are and "WIN" in the playoffs "if" we get there, "WIN" a Super Bowl. Stuck with Huard does nothing to build us a championship caliber team. "IF" we make it to the playoffs with Huard we are still going to get destroyed by a team that has both good offense and good defense.

"If" Croyle started he would have had the opportunity to grow with this team and become a better QB that we so desperately need to become "contenders", at this point of the season we are "pretenders" to think that Huard gives us hope for a Super Bowl run "this year".

I am a fan of winning a Super Bowl ASAP/ but I am not a fan of Huard & our offense looking like shit in the process and still doesn't give us a reasonable chance of getting us past the first round of PO.

Win/Lose, I love I'll support this team as long as I live and on my tombstone I will have / Players come and go I don't have to like the players that play for KC Chiefs, especially the ones that suck and don't give us a future for winning a Super Bowl. Our O line is just as much apart of our 4-3 record, does that mean I have to support a mediocre O line? "IF" Huard would start playing like a champion and show that he can produce offensive drives that lead to offensive TDs and we start to look "good" then maybe I will change my mind about him, but so far he has looked like shit with only a few good plays.

If you are right about Croyle being a terrible QB that will never amount to anything... how does that feel. You get to gloat that the only long term prospect at the most important position on the roster can't even put a bottom 5 starter on the bench. We have no long term prospects at QB and you are THRILLED about it!! GOOD FAN

he was a 3rd round pick...I'm not worried about a 3rd round pick not working out...happens all of the time...I wish we'd get a TRUE QB prospect.

GOOD GOD people. We should change this to (Every thread is a QB debate planet) Everyone knows everyone else´s stance on the QB situation. There´s nothing that can be said that hasn´t already or is going to change the other party´s opinion. LET IT GO.

About 2/3 of the QB that are taken in the first round don't become franchise QBs for the team that drafted them. Tell us your plan for getting a franchise QB.

Your odds of getting a franchise QB in the draft are probably a lot higher though, scince you have this power of telling that a QB is a bust without seeing him start a single NFL game. You could tell that Brady, Montana, Romo, Warner et al were diamonds in the rough. That must be awesome for you.

I did say Romo was going to be PHENOMENAL before the start of last year, so I'll give myself a little pat on the back there...

BUT

For every Romo, Warner and Brady there are 50 times as many Quincy Carter's...

Come on stat guy, why don't you go back through the last 10 drafts, count the QB's taken after the first round, and determine what the success rate if for those players.

Croyle doesn't even weigh 200 lbs...dude is going to be broken in half playing behind this line. Backfoot Panic Heave has a good arm...but what else? NOTHING

You are so full of

Croyle needs playing time to prove that he is a good QB. Huard has 6 tds and 7 INTs so far and lookes like shit 85% of the game. Croyle has stepped in twice to replace Huard and looked good both times on the field against Da Bears and Jags. You will say it was garbage time "whatever".

I will say it was garbage time because it was garbage time...

Remember when we were beating Cincinnati 27-10 late in the 4th quarter...you know, the game where we didn't allow a 3rd down conversion on defense for the first 56 minutes of the game? What happened when we switched to our 7 DB prevent defense?! Palmer absolutely tore it to shreds. THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE GAME IS OVER IN THE 4TH QUARTER.

Of course that's the only thing the Croyle clan has too cling on to in this debate so I understand why it is brought up so often.

maybe Croyle can add some muscle to his tiny frame this offseason and work on that backfoot panic heaving...

It's pretty low, as it is for every position in football, actually.

So that's a bit of an empty argument.
