Life What's on your "Bucket List"? - Page 9

My stepdad died of cancer in June of 2009 (he had a bone marrow transplant in 93 and a recurrence in 05) the last weeks were not pleasant. Also. the wifey fought off breast cancer over the last 18 months. This crap had gotten me thinking about my own "bucket list" so last summer I got a jump on it. Since August of last year I have done a several 5k races, a sprint triathlon, a couple duathlons and a full marathon. I have some more athletic competitions on the horizon, but was wondering what else I might give a go. Any suggestions (besides antifreeze)? What have you already done? What would you still like to do? Thanks, and of course, sorry if repost.

you got more of a chance dying choking on bite of t-bone steak... of course, if that is the case, why do it in the first place?

Didn't read through everything but the only thing on my bucket list is to make sure that my niece gets through life with everything she needs to succeed. If she makes something of herself then my life will be complete...

Are you in a position where that became your responsibility? If so, good luck. Parenting is the hardest job out there.

i would def go sky diving, go to every chiefs game i could, also royals games no matter where they were. travel everywhere i could no matter what the cost. meet a cool president, cook a perfect souffle, without the top falling....ect.... lol

i thought that i would try to give you some ideas

I guess I would try eating souffle before trying to cook it. Too bad money is an issue on so many of the items on the list.... travel, time away from work, etc.

So today I scratched off another item by jumping out of an airplane at 10k feet. It was great. Now, the problem I have is that I want to do it all day every day. First step out the door was so cool... cant be described/ awesome

I'm prolly on the last few years of my life so here goes my list, hopefully I'll get to some of it ... Go to Canton .. Go black-marlin fishing .. Tour the whole US .. Re-connect with all my ole-friends .. Go fishing and camping every weekend with my grandsons .. Walk my daughter down the asile at her wedding .. See at least one of my grandsons play Div. 1 football .. See the Chiefs win 1 more Super Bowl and attend it too .. And last watch the Chiefs win at Dungver every year till I die .....
