Conspiracy buffs?

Ok, who here is at least somewhat of a conspiracy buff? Which ones do you believe strongly in and which do you think are bs? Any of your own?

It seems pretty easy (if not pointless) to get someone out of the solar system. Just pack up a pod with a ton of food and other sustenance and send the dude packing. If it takes years upon years, so what? I bet we could sustain someone that long just to prove you wrong.

Today, different story. Are you really unable to apply this concept to your views on technological advances and what the "truths" are today and how those will change in the next 20+ years?
But that's the thing. As it stands now, society isn't really interested in space, other than things in earth orbit to support the inventions you mention. Big picture, there's relatively little interest in going back to the moon, much less a manned exploration of other systems. The human race seems to have turned inward the last few years.

I always wondered about the pentagon video. I've seen it as well, and you cant tell what is hitting the building because it is going way to fast. I do find it hard to believe that there is only one camera taking pics of the pentagon from one angle given that quicktrip has three or four angles of the store. You kidding me?

Maybe they don't want to show us because it wasn't a plane. It was actually a FLYING SAUCER loaded with radioactive fuel used to transport it across space and time.

- the Pentagon mess was even worse. All videos/security camers in surrounding areas were immediately confiscated by govt officials within minutes after the fact. Not to mention there's a huge obstacle course of street lights and signs, roads, guard rails, traffic etc.....yet nothing else was damaged??? The plane dissentigrated because of all of that jet fuel burning right? That big 737 jumbo jet??? everything? Just all gone? No remains left behind? BULLSHIT Pentagon was ****ing bombed.
- nevermind that Bush Sr. was meeting with the Bin Laden's family that morning concerning the investment company the Carlyle Group that invested in defensive contracting companies.
- Cheney's oversight with NORAD on that day. NORAD did something like 100 hijacking drills all being successful. Yet on 9/11 they failed 4 times in one day. Cheney ordering NORAD to stand down and not release fighter jets
- How in the **** did WTC building 7 get bombed?
- Bin Laden's brothers/family, living in Falls Church, VA....right outside CIA headquarters.
- 9/11 commission is a joke....GWB was never put under oath, neither was Cheney, they always appeared together on their own terms to address questions from the 9/11 commission, which anything in there had to be approved from the Bush admin. Honestly they both need to appear apart and both be put under oath.

I absolutely DO believe that GWB and his admin/CIA officials were behind all of this.
I'm with you on this, bro. Just too many question marks surrounding the whole ordeal. I have no idea what exactly happened or who was behind, but I am doubting some of the shit that was fed to us.

Here's a concept: We went from point A to point B. Thus, we can go from point B to point C. If you can imagine it, you can achieve it!!

No.

The nearest solar system is how far away? About 4.2 light years. You know how far that is? About 24 trillion miles. You know how far that is, yet? It's too far. The New Horizons will go about 28,000 miles per hour. You know how long it would take to get to the nearest star at that rate? About 100,000 years.

And that's hoping the nearest solar system has developed, intelligent life like humans or apes.

What if not the 1st, but the 8th does?

That's about 10 light years away. That's about 60 trillion miles away. 60 trillion miles away, going 28,000 miles per hour is what? That's right. It would take 244,000 years to get there.

I know what you're thinking. WE CAN MAKE FASTER SPACECRAFT!

Sure. But how fast? A spacecraft that can go 500,000 miles per hour? Haha, but let's play fun and games so you're an asshole.

How long would that take to get to the nearest star?

Only 5000 years.

The WTC 7 thing is a mystery. It went down hours after the towers did, and the owner took out a billion dollar insurance policy on that building in the days (weeks) preceeding 9/11.

As for the 9/11 conspiracy as a whole, good arguments can indeed be made for it, but as has been pointed up repeatedly, the sheer magnitude of an operation like that would be absolutely impossible to keep quiet.

Jenson, are you an AmeriCAN, or an AmeriCAN'T?

I'll have to go find the article about the physics grad working at the University of Alabam (I think) on propulsion with anti-gravity. They speculated that anti-grav propulsion could be the foundation for future propulsions, such as an impulse drive. Donger may actually have knowledge of this, as subjects such as these are seemingly his hobby.

The only thing close to a conspiracy that I can believe is that we had prior knowledge of the plans for this attack and did nothing.

I remember vividly watching CNN or some news network a month or so before 9/11 and Interpol raised the flag on a potential terrorist attack happening soon.

I find it hard to believe we planned the whole thing. But I could see us turning our back knowing something was coming. Helped us get into wars that we wanted to begin with.

Me. I love a good conspiracy. I don't believe them all. Or most for that matter but I love hearing how the pieces could fit together for an alternative reality.
