hey baby lee...at what point in that Ravens game did they ever push Manning to have to do anything but just manage the lead?
everyone is always quick to give the credit to anyone BUT peyton manning...especially on his Super Bowl run... but I do know that there were two times in that postseason the colts were trailing... 21-3 to the Patriots 7-0 to the Bears and both times who came up big for the Colts? and I can't wait for the threads next week...it's going to be like Damon Huard all over again... I predicted two weeks ago that the Chargers were going to beat the Colts...I think they are the better team...I think the Colts only chance is a perfect game by Peyton Manning...and even then I think that defense needs to force ONE turnover...something... but if the Chargers win it's going to all deflect on me... |

Under constant duress with OTs Marc Colombo and Flozell Adams (and Doug Free after Adams got hurt) getting beat relentlessly by Vikes edge rushers Ray Edwards and Jared Allen, Romo took six sacks and got nothing going downfield.
Man that Tony Romo sure is a choker. |

I have always said Tom Brady was the 2nd best QB in the NFL.
Always, always, always. But I also think he is pretty much an over-glorified game manager. If someone is great at managing games and making plays if/when necessary...they can't be great QB's? I also said QB choke jobs are myths...but since the only rebuttal for brady backers is Manning choke jobs...I just like to throw out all of the mediocre/bad playoff games brady has put up as well...because his easily match peytons. |

Aaron Rodgers and Tony Romo both have higher ceilings than Tom Brady if you ask me...
Of course I'm on record ON THIS BOARD saying Aaron Rodgers was going to be an amazing NFL QB...before he even started 1 game. They followed the right blueprint for him... Back to my first sentence... None of them will ever be thought of as better QB's than Tom Brady because of Super Bowl rings...which I personally think is a bullshit excuse to crown somebody... Drew Bledsoe won the AFC Championship game in 2001... Do we really think he couldn't have won that Super Bowl, too? |
