Just watched him today, and he looks solid. They even said that Tony Dungy advised that if he comes out early that the Chiefs should take him with the number one pick.

If you trade down in the first and all the QB's slated to go there are gone then you decide to wait till the second, you're setting yourself up to be in a spot where there might not be a Qb there to pick.

By the time the draft comes we'll pretty much know all the teams draft boards, and if we have a guy targeted and feel we can't get him then we just take him at #1. I'm all fine with taking QB at #1 i just want it to be a sure bet thats the guy for us.

That's the thing. If you have a guy targeted you just take him. I don't think you should sit there and contemplate at all if he will be there or not. If there is a 1% chance he won't be there, don't **** around. Not with the QB position in a QB league.

What's unfortunate is you'd like to think one more year is going to improve him. I don't think so. He's got all the talent in the world, but I just don't think he's very well coached. Not sure how much an extra year will do for him, except maybe clear up some concerns about his ability to play in the 4th quarter.

agreed but lets say reid likes geno, but there is a very good possiblity to trade back to 8 and pick up tyler wilson who reid also likes. also has his eye on a WR and CB in the second round.

Now there are alot of teams that want a QB and if we feel neither of our targets are there then yes don't **** around and take one. But like i said if there is an OPPORTUNITY to trade back then i guarantee Reid looks into it and explores the option.. if it's a risk, then don't do it, if he has a plan, then by all means lets stock the cupboards

The QB opportunity is important enough that I would gladly fork out to early picks to make sure we get it right. I'm especially interested in Nassib or Jordan Rodgers being picked at the right value. As backups to Geno or Tyler Wilson or whomever Reid thinks is the right QB.
