I hate stuff like this. If the dog was charging, you must defend yourself, but dogs aren't aggressive, people are aggressive. Dogs that attack aren't pissed or mad, they're afraid, and people made them that way.

Too bad the dog didn't have a gun to use on the cops. At least it could have gone down in a fair fight.

Sorry dude, but that's bogus. There are plenty of downright mean ass dogs. Sometimes it's the fault of their living situation but plenty of dogs are naturally agressive and angry.

If you're truly scared of a dog this much you have to shoot it get a different ****ing job. I'm sure pepper spray or a quick hit with a stick would have been acceptable. Don't shoot the ****ing dog.

George Carlin once said, and I'm paraphrasing, " Aren't cops supposed to be there to protect and serve? Next time I see a cop, I'm gonna tell him to go get me a glass of water"

What do mean by "Acceptable"? Acceptable to whom, dog lovers that weren't in the middle of it? The dog weighed 130lbs. You think a quick hit with a stick would have removed the dog's aggression towards the police? LOL...

The situation didn't leave the cops much choice. It sucks, but the cops were doing their job and protecting themselves. Camera douche guy put himself and that dog in a bad situation and it turned out badly. The dog didn't deserve to get put down, but it's Camera douche's fault for putting them there.

Have you ever kicked a dog? I was attacked in an alley once, the dog ran full speed and I knew it was coming after me. I took a few steps back and got into position to throw a kick. I kicked this ****er so hard he rolled and was dazed. He looked at me, tilted his head to the side and walked away.

If you hit a dog hard enough they'll surrender. They're not lions or bears lol.

Wow thats disgusting, there are bad cops everywhere but kalifornia specializes in them, that guy did absolutely nothing wrong and even went the extra step of putting the dog in the car.

I hope he sues the shit out of them, very disturbing, that state seems to ENCOURAGE bad police behavior.

If you watch the tape again, you'll see that the cops were ignoring him until he started yelling at them. They were in the midst of a stand off and trying to do their jobs. Imagine trying to do your job with some random asshole yelling at you. Now throw in the added twist that if you can't concentrate on what you're doing, you could get shot & killed.

He was obstructing and his dog payed the price

Was the dog that attacked you a 130 lb Rottweiler? If not, then shut the **** up. Hitting a Rott or a Pit Bull with a stick or kicking them isn't going to do anything but fuel their aggression.
