Name brand food items only.

Was thinking about this today. We buy a lot of off-brand items (I'm cheap) but have a few select things in which the generic doesn't match up.

Off the top of my head they are Ruffles chips, Ketchup and Litehouse Blue Cheese Dressing.

What about you?

/I love the off-season.

there are little food items as important as Blue Cheese. You have to choose responsibly - I can't mature your palate for you.

There's a route 66 forgiveness factor with Ott's - I don't dislike it.

I like Ott's french dressing. I'll buy their bbq sauce on sale if I'm doing something in the crockpot with it. I've bought that same caesar along with a bunch of other bottled stuff and it's not too great. Marzetti's supreme caesar is the best I've bought, but I don't get any of it a ton. Might go after the Litehouse brand next time I'm feeling like a caesar salad.

all my opinions are based solely on Blue Cheese. I felt I should mention that. Ott's did a nice job over the years. I like their BBQ sauce too for basic needs, although i've not had it in years. I tell you a KC sauce that's good is Spanish Gardens for tacos.

I rarely buy bottled dressings as they consistently suck ass across the board no matter the brand.
Well good for you guys I have other things to do with my time. Maybe if I get the time one day Ill give it a try but to me a salad is a salad. Its glorified rabbit food.
