Buffalo cant/won't run the ball, except with Allen. Bolton as a spy should negate a lot of that horseshit.
I am looking forward to seeing a Chiefs team WITHOUT Niemann, Sorenson, Mike Hughes, and Hitchens play the Bills.

In the bad loss in the regular season, the Bills picked on those guys repeatedly and victimized them for a host of big plays. The Bills' offensive explosion in the playoffs was about more than just Josh Allen making throws and Gabe Davis running fast. They were blown coverages or flat-out fall-downs by the DB that left him completely wide open.

Can KC limit the big plays downfield and make Josh Allen do what teams have been making Mahomes do? That's a big key.

I hope we see more of Thornhill and Reid playing 2-deep in this one.

Getting McDuffie back would help a lot, too. Hopefully he's good to go.

I honestly do not have a feel for this game at all.

I kind of figured we'd **** around and find out some against the Raiders, but pull out a close one, and said so.

Some of you guys said I was smoking crack.

This game? Man, I just have no idea.

It would have been real nice to have won that Indy game and have a bit of a buffer here.

Philly though? Their schedule is hilariously weak, maybe worse than when the Broncos have started 3-0 or 6-0 and the media thought they were hot shit.... except, the Eagles' schedule never really improves any.

Not to say they aren't good, but far too early to put them in the same class as the Chiefs and Bills, IMO.

Setting aside all the other problems in that Colts game, the damn Arizona field injuring Butker was massive. They get 6 more points on the board in that Colts game with Butker.

they’re not in that class, but they’re a good team, better than the rest of the league outside the big two. great OL and DL. i’m not comfortable calling any other team legitimately good right now. i certainly dont trust the vikings, cowboys, or giants.

Every game against teams with offensive firepower and good edge rushers has potential to be a major struggle. But if KC comes out hyper-focused, like in Tampa, they can find a way to beat anyone.

I don't have a lot of faith in the defense to slow Buffalo down consistently. Hope they prove me wrong. Getting McDuffie and Danna back would definitely help.

It's hard to make a prediction with the status of so many key players being up in the air. Of course, Bills homers are saying that everyone's coming back for this one. And hell, maybe it's true. Some of them might have been ready before the Pittsburgh game but held out for this one.

Same.

I have concerns on how we'll match up in single coverage. Gabe Davis could be a real game plan ****er for us.

I could see the Bills picking our secondary apart. OBJ STILL can't deal with the speed rush and i'm sure they'll be lining Von on him all night.

Raiders had good success mugging Kelce all night. I imagine that will be the strategy for every team moving forward.

But overall i aint gonna be salty if the Chiefs lose. It's the playoffs that matter and we're a long way from that.

We'll probably need an even performance throughout the game against a team like the Bills, and we have not delivered that so far this year, so I'm not optimistic. But winning against them in the postseason is what matters, not necessarily winning this week. We have time to get everyone back and for the offense and defense to mature before then.

Mahomes brought this up. He said it was the old Belichick strategy. The Raiders DC is a Belichick guy. Chiefs need to come up with a strategy to deal with that. I wanna see more quick hitter pass plays with guys like Moore, MVS, & McKinnon.

Not sure how much more 'even' you're wanting if week 1 and the Bucs games don't count?
