How long can we expect Juju to be out?

Only frame of reference I have is Tua. He missed 3 weeks after his bad knockout in Cincinnati with the Dolphins purposefully holding him out an extra week out of caution.

Knowing Andy he’ll take a similar approach. I bet it’s 3 weeks for him too. I know these things are a case-by-case basis but if you were Andy would you hold him out longer than 3 weeks?

Well it’s a good thing Toney is awesome and Hardman is coming back. Good depth on our team thank God

It’s going to be a heavy dose of 87, he’s due for an Angry Run

All fans think there team is getting hosed by the refs dude that was my overall point and they always think other teams star players get star treatment.

Again though explain why the NFL who puts KC on Prime Time any chance they get would purposefully not be protecting Mahomes?

Explain it.

You would have a better chance of selling ocean front property in Vegas than convincing me the league is purposefully not protecting the face of the NFL, arguably the most popular player and the guy they put on Prime Time every single chance they get.

Does any of that make actual sense to you? Now think, maybe you believe this because you specifically watch the Chiefs every week and watch Mahomes every play he is on the field?
I don't think anyone here is trying to make it make sense, because it doesn't

But at the same time, we can only tell ourselves our eyes are lying so many times before we're left with ugly conclusions... Pat takes 1-2 a game that
don't get called

Given the EXTREME emphasis the league presumably puts on it, it doesn't make any sense... then I watch another game after ours, and some scrub gets the call on seemingly every questionable hit

I can see your point, but I'm not basing it just on Chiefs' games. If I was, that's another story. I watch a lot of games and watched even more in the past than I do now. I saw how Manning, Brady, Big Ben, ect were all treated. Mahomes doesn't get anywhere near the same protection.

Look at the 3 calls the Bills got in a matter of minutes of that Minnesota game. Davis catch that wasn't a catch, Cousins scores on second effort easily and they won't show replay, 12 men on the field on the goal line stand. 3 missed calls that Mahomes and this organization would never, ever get. No chance.

Just looking at the WR free agents next year and it is a dumpster fire.

Do you think we will possibly franchise tag Juju and then think about signing him to a long term deal the year after?

He is the best free agent next year by a country mile and will likely be getting big money if we let him go.

If it wasn't for Tua and that whole mishandling bullshit by the Dolphins, I'd say he's out 1 week. 2 at most. The Tua deal kinda set a precedence. 3 weeks I imagine

I could honestly see him just be out one game or maybe even be available next week. Concussions are all different for each player, and I’m guessing/hoping if he hasn’t had one before then he might be quicker to recover.

It's going to be interesting to see how this is handled in wake of the MIA fiasco. My take is that because of the MIA thing, JuJu is out for at least this Sunday, with at least a 50% chance of being out next Sunday. Andy/Veach/Clark don't want to have any part of that kind of publicity down the stretch.

Besides, look at how they've handled every injury since forever.

Patrick Mahomes entered the protocol on January 17th and came back January 22nd. Yeah, it was playoff time but with the severity of his symptoms at the time of the hit, he was out 5 days and never missed another game.

I don't think the MIA situation has any bearing on this one. If he passes the neuro tests and makes it out of the protocol he'll play.
