Overwhelming majority of American Indians had no problem with the Redskins name per the Washington Post (over 90%).

I'm about 85% French, which is about as pure as any Native walking the planet now. Considering the word Chief is from the French, I don't want Natives stealing my heritage and using it as their own. It triggers my inner Karen. They can identify as whatever the **** their word is for Chief and **** right off. I'm proud that my favorite team is using my heritage. Long live the Chiefs!

Aww, I got a downvote. The word Chief isn't native. The word Chiefs isn't racist. The Chiefs don't use a derogatory symbol or mascot. Natives aren't the only culture to ever make and use an arrowhead. Don't like it? Don't much give a ****.

Now, if you want the war chants and chops emulating Native culture to go away, you can have that. It's lame as **** anyhow.
