It does. He should try jumping on his free throws. It couldn't hurt

Diallo looked just as raw as could be anticipated. I don't think he'll be helping that much on offense any time soon. He does bring a length and energy that this team has sorely needed over the past few years, though. Cut the minutes of Lucas/Traylor, keep playing him through his mistakes (and there will be many) and he might just be an impact player by February.

If Selden can keep shooting 55% from three all season, that would be nice too.

One other notable thing is that KU is playing at a faster tempo than they ever have under Self. They've always been well above average relative to the rest of the NCAA, but they've never been in the top 20 (or even the top 50) like they are right now. Only one team (Vanderbilt) has been able to keep one of KU's games under 70 possessions so far (the D-1 average). With the relative struggles of the half court offense, it would be beneficial to keep this up. Having Diallo around certainly won't hurt on that front.

I spent the first half trying to get that to work with Browsec and then Zenmate on Chrome. I just kept having errors. It still makes you sign in to your provider and then when I sign in the authentication fails. I know my sign ins were correct because I double checked. Also, I noticed that those (or at least Zenmate) made my browsing really slow.

I did get to watch the second half as someone on Phog.net did a capture or mirror or whatever you call it (like Periscope). The quality was not good but at least I got to watch it.

I told you guys that Selden is gonna be a good player this year. So far he has fit the bill.

I loved seeing Diallo blocking shots last night. We haven't had that kind of presence since Embiid. That makes a huge difference in the defense.

He's been nails this year. I'd like to see how he responds when his 3 point shot isn't falling, though.

Well, he obviously isn't likely to hit 60% for 3 on the season. But he is one of the most talented players we have seen in a long while. And what people don't see on TV is his micro-finesse game, the little things he does to freeze a defender and open up a passing lane. The guy is crazy talented.

He also just doesn't look very fast. It's just the way he runs. But he is so fast and strong and seems to have adjusted to the game so that he doesn't just bowl people over anymore. He has learned to use his size and strength and not just rely on them. Yes, he is BY FAR a better player this year. But it drove me insane listening to people who didn't recognize the talent.

I am so happy to see him healthy and stepping into a vocal leadership role. He and Graham are the vocal leaders of this team (I wonder if that's why I love Graham so much, too).

And, while I didn't want to think that not having Diallo hurt our Final Four chances, I will say that having him sure looks like it will help our NC chances. He and Bragg are just fantastic out there.

Thank you for your service, Jamari. I love any 4 year player at KU. But it's time for the Bragg/Diallo/Ellis/Mickelson rotation to take over.
