Those are all good players you selected. They're even what I call "Herm" type players. Heavy on college production and experience.

The Bucs on the other hand believe the NFC is theirs in 2008. They've loaded up in free agency and they're just looking to draft as many players who can dress up on Day One as possible. They are definitively win-now. The Eagles would have selected Wesley Woodyard and allowed him some time to pick up a new position. The Bucs wouldn't be interested. |

Brohm played for a new coach this last year. He should've came out last year, he would've gone higher. If he's there in the 2nd, we HAVE to draft him. Way too much value to pass up on. |

well Mr. flopnuts
according to the way gms are falling in love with henne and flacco Brohm could very well be at our pick in the second. I for one have always said he is a definite value pick if he is at our second pick. He would have been a first last year comes back has a bad year and now falls to 2nd rnd. |

With the 168th pick the Bengals select:
Jacob Hester FB/RB LSU - Chris Perry is a walking (barely) injury case, Kenny Irons missed the entire last year and Rudi Johnson missed time as well. Hester might only be a short yardage guy or work out of a single back formation but I'm comfortable taking him here. |

Dizon would have been the pick had he been available, but we're pretty happy with who we've picked.
The Saints select Kory Lichtensteiger, C, Bowling Green The Saints could use a backup for Jonathan Goodwin, and find him in the 6th. Some publications have Lichtensteiger rated as high as a 4th round talent, we had him going in the 5th - so we're happy to get him here. Very likely to be a backup for several years, but is the type of kid you hate to doubt. Great motor and desire. His run blocking may be the only thing that keeps him from starting sooner rather than later. Could surprise. |

Three great picks in a row, solid late-round drafting still. This Draft hasn't gone to shit in the late rounds; these mocks typically do. Well done so far, folks.
My top ten... 1. QB Dennis Dixon (Oregon) 2. SS Jamie Silva (Boston College) 3. C Cody Wallace (Texas A&M) 4. RB Justin Forsett (California) 5. OG Donald Thomas (Connecticut) 6. WR Kevin Robinson (Utah State) 7. DE/OLB Chase Ortiz (TCU) 8. TE Jacob Tamme (Kentucky) 9. CB Darnell Terrell (Missouri) 10. OLB Stanford Keglar (Purdue) |
