Personally, I think Crystal made the recording in an attempt to blackmail Tyreek into staying with her. Yes, she would get some child support if he left but her personal meal ticket would be gone. She probably shared it with her family in the process. Then when Tyreek called her bluff, one of her pissed off family members gave it the TV station in an attempt to say "if we can't have anything, neither will you". I don't think they were thinking about the kids at that point; just revenge.

I can easily imagine an outcome in which KCTV5 has to choose between settling a libel case or facing being named in an extortion charge.

Actually ... now that I think about it ... settling for libel and defamation would be fine with me.

Then, the Espinal Gang can bring KCTV5 into their extortion case later.

I think realistically now the only one thinking of the kids was Tyreek.
Did we ever learn why she was passed out leaving their son unsupervised? She was pregnant at the time too right?
Fatigued or something else?

The way I see it, the motive changed from "marriage with no prenup" to revenge somewhere along the way.

Yes. Even last season the Chiefs were talking about constantly adding weapons that suit Mahomes. With Watkins injury history and a contract soon to expire, with Reeks contract in limbo, and what they saw as a genuine speedy playmaker, i think they still would've made the pick.

Dont forget they let Conley go in FA too. They had a need for a 3rd receiver. And Hardman fills both the role of WR and a replacement gadget guy (DAT).
