What do you have?

Wanting ---- cams with app access/door and window sensors/alarm/

Finally deciding that I can live without comcast equipment and rental fees.

My computer that my foscams feed into is dying. I do not want to replace it. Foscam software sucks.

With the mess of Comcast security the other day-It is time to look around.

Willing to spend money on a system like Simply safe.

We have the Ring alarm system with the doorbell and security cams added. We pay $200 per year for monitoring which includes all videos saved to the cloud. All doors and windows have sensors and we have two motion sensors inside the house. It’s Alexa compatable so if the doorbell cam goes off in the middle of the night I just say “Alexa show me the front door” and I can see the doorbell cam on the Echo Show.

Similar concept - we have a bunch of Wyze cameras. They're cheap as shit ($20 each), which makes them an easy place to start.

True, but they do also have a battery-powered version for $50. Just needs to be charged up every few months.

I've got a bunch of 1080i Yi camera's outside with sound and they have stood the test of time. Two way audio, with inferred that can be switched on and off from my phone, along with everything else controllable with the phone.

Everything is on the Cloud. Once there is movement, it takes a 7 second video, which is sent my phone and a longer video is saved on the cloud. I'm on the Cloud "save video for 14 day plan," for $129.00 and you can edit and download a clip and save it indefinitely, anytime.

Pros: Nice clear video with recorded sound, day or night.

Cons: About everything will set a code, including a bug flying by, or a passing snowflake.
