I hope we don't f**k this up. All 12 (or however many we end up with) guys need to be in camp on time. Albert needs to start his career at LT out property, I hope Carl doesn't f**k him up in particular. At least you know Dorsey could come in and dominate from day one regardless.

The total outlay for the 5th and 15th pick last year, bonus and all, looking only 5 years down the line, was about 30 million. 22.3 for OT Brown in the Cardinals and 11 million for the LB of Steelers. But because we must have close to 40 million cap room we do not have any real barriers to paying for any kind of contract with restraints with fitting under cap. That includes new contracts for a few of the guys we already have on the team.
You can make an argument the JA could have been paid that money but for the same money we get three starters. One and maybe two of them being well above average. In a team sport, it is more important to get numbers. (For Jared he went to a team that has DT already in place so that he has the potential to make an impact there. Timing is everything.)
