19 months isn't 19 minutes. That's a fair amount of time. But in the scheme of things, it isn't very long. If you were informed you had roughly 19 months, what would you do? This isn't a bucket list thread because we've all bungie jumped down at the county fair.

Would you call your first girlfriend before you got married just to see how she ended up?

Would you find a heroin dealer and see what opiates are all cracked up about?

Would you kill with a small silver S&W the green haired guy that you heard is beating up your niece?

Would you just lay in bed and wait for the end?

Just read the bible more?

Go to a part of the world you always wanted to see?

Here's what I'd do. I'd do two chicks at the same time.

I mean, I might make 19 more months…might not. I don’t know.
Metastatic melanoma is calling the shots with me.
The longest trip I’ve been on besides to the cancer center was a weekend at my sons in Warrensburg in the last year.
I have to stay out of the sun. That knocks my dick in the dirt.
So, I usually get up in the morning and walk on the treadmill (I’m up to 3.5 miles a day). Write in my journal. Sit on patios(front, back, basement) and read.
I can still drive short distances, like getting dog food or scripts.
I see my daughter every day, and my sons call me every day. My wife works from home most of the time.

I see my grandkids all the time, in fact one is sitting a few feet away from me right now.

I’m trying to live my life to the fullest and enjoy what I’ve been given and what’s ahead of me. I want my family and friends to send me off with smiles and laughs. If there have to be tears, let them be tears of joy because I am a lucky bastard.

I'd get my affairs in order, enjoy the time I had remaining by doing whatever I felt compelled to do that day.

I'd like to think that once I'm closer to the end and whatever is killing me is starting to make me have more really bad days than good... I would go to a country that will allow me to die on my own terms.

The above is so important don't leave it to your loved ones living to figure out on own your last wishes. Get a will and power of attorney. Clean shit up for those loved ones left on this earth.
