It’s going to be Matheny, gang. Hope Im wrong but that’s not just speculation. Sherman will let Moore make the call.

Matheny’s religion was a problem in St. Louis, if - as reported by credible people that cover the Cardinals - it led to favoritism for players who attended his bible study.

The other concerns are the way he runs his clubhouse - rigid and uptight is what I hear - and the way he treats young players - no trust.

Like I said, Moore is using up whatever rope he had left with me.

This blows my mind.... WE ARE REBUILDING WITH YOUNG PLAYERS.... this is going to be disaster. Can't wait till he has Ian Kennedy frag Brady Singer for playing fortnight.

I’m more concerned with him blowing through arms like he did in STL. He abused the crap out of his best bullpen guys (warming them up multiple times in a game) and blew out a bunch of arms.

Daniel Lynch and Kyle Isbel both made the Fall League all Star team.

Isbel has been really good - more like the gutter we saw before the hamate injury. I still like him a bit more than the consensus prospect watchers...
