He was kind of quiet today. Of course he had that big sack/FF but other than that he only had 2 tackles.

Yup. Edwards ability in coverage has allowed us to send DJ on the blitz more often. Bell was just a waste of space in coverage.

Mostly because he spent most of the day trying to blanket Antonio Gates.

That's life on the strong side. Any given game your numbers can take a hit because you're absorbed in coverage all day.

And he got the INT that set up our first TD. Between that and the sack/FF, DJ arguably made the 2 biggest plays of the game. Bowe's TD reception is right up there, though.

I think this has a lot more to do with it than does Donnie. Donnie by no means hurts, but the Dline is soooooooooo much better.
