The player moves that could vastly improve this team

If made by COB tomorrow -

#1. No Brainer is a #2 WR. We just need someone to take coverage off of Hill and Kelce or that can consistently beat single coverage. The Candidates?

Brandin Cooks - probably the most likely trade candidate since the Texans are unloading and is still young enough (28) to be around for a few years.

Marvin Jones - the Jags are also prime for the picking at 1-6 they are definitely in sell mode. Jones is older (31) but still can beat defenders.

Allen Robinson - not sure how a deal could be structured to get him but a fresh start and the opportunity to play for Mahomes might rejuvenate him.

#2 DE- Move Jones back inside with Reed and put Clark on the Edge with

Melvin Ingram - Steelers would move for the right price, at 32 still has some gas in the tank but does he really want to play here after passing up an opportunity to sign back in the off-season.

Emmanuel Ogbah - at 27 years old a better option if we can get the Dolphins to sell at a reasonable price. Never should have let him walk Okafor should have been the odd man out.

#3 - Safety - Sorenson is killing me - definitely need to find someone to play that hybrid linebacker/safety spot.

Tre Boston - is a FA option and still relatively young at 29. Bring him in for a look?

Additionally the Chiefs need to make a commitment to run the ball. I really like Gores running and ability to see the field. Something I think CEH lacks and Williams just doesn’t do. Establish a good ground game will force defenses to bring people into the box. 7 of the 11 play drive for a TD in the 2nd quarter were Gore rushes. More of that. Force them to stop him. With a true #2 it will be easier to pass but balance always helps.

Thoughts? Who would you trade/sign if you were Veach?

No mention of a RB. FAIL.

A speed back makes a huge difference for this offense. Everything opens up.

Jones Jr. would be perfect. He wouldn't cost you to much in regards to a draft pick (4th at the worst) and probably isn't super expensive. Robinson would be amazing but I doubt we can afford him and he's probably costing a first round pick.

Kendrick Lewis looks like Troy Palomalu compared to Sorensen.

Hold players accountable.

Sorenson has had the worst year of a safety that any of us can remember, YET HE'S STILL OUT THERE MOST OF THE PLAYS.

CEH fumbles in huge moment in the game, yet HE WAS STILL OUT THERE.

Hitchens is an abortion at LB, yet HE IS STILL OUT THERE.

Whatis wrong with holding players accountable for their ****ups?!

I would call Detroit about Tracy Walker, safety.

I also like the Allen Robinson idea. It is even more urgent now that Kelce looks off or hurt or aging.
