I was told my last day with Sprint will be the 27th. Oh well, close one chapter and open another I suppose. Sure sucks though. To all those countless others going through the same shit.

Enjoy a few days off and hit the bricks. Man I'm not looking forward to finding a job in this market. I hope I don't have to move

I don't know what kind of work you do for Sprint, but AT&T is actually hiring right now. I have no idea what jobs are available up there, but they are adding about 3,000 employees this year.

A bunch of groups were let go last Thursday, but I believe tomorrow is the actual drop dead date. They started letting us know yesterday. Tell you the truth, there is a big part of me that is relieved to just finally getting it over with. There have been layoff's from the day I started. I've only worked there for three years, but can you imagine fifteen plus years of that shit?
