Security Plus

I did a search and found nothing which is why I am making this post. I received an offer from a company and one of their requirements is that I need to have Security + within two months of starting or after I finish up the class they will send me to, whichever is second. I am looking to get a head start on it and see if anyone got their Sec + recently and if so what resources did you use? I thank you for your response.

I haven't gotten Sec+ recently but I have other CompTIA certs.

Just find some practice tests. Honestly, the CompTIA certs are pretty easy compared to some other exams.

I got my Sec+ 7-8 years ago, but have never bothered to renew it.

I used a study book by Darril Gibson and some practice tests....the book is only 10 bucks if you have a kindle:

They used to expire every year, IIRC. Which means your Sec+ is no longer valid. But I'm sure you probably know that.
