Chiefs Is Kelce a little "off" this year? - Page 4

I can't put my finger on it but Travis Kelce looks a little off this season. He looks slower, a little clumsier and not at his best catching passes.

His blocking has been great so that's a positive.

I wonder if his ankle is not great after surgery.

Am I imagining this or are other people seeing something just not 100% with Travis?

If you look across the league, I think defenses are putting more emphasis on slowing down the TEs. Ertz, Kelce, Kittle et all are all having slower years in production.

It also looks like the league is set on allowing TEs to get mugged so far this season.

He will have a strong second half. As the weather gets cold, there'll be more strikes to him on 3rd down, and more opps in the endzone.

He's been productive, as usual, but he does look noticeably slower. He's getting absolutely beat up off the line and down the field regularly, no doubt. Some of the "missed plays" and "drops" I've seen are due to defenders getting there early and ass-raping him before the ball gets to his hands. It happened several times in the GB game.

Kelce leads the league in yards while his QB has been hurt in 2 games. And leads the league in avg reception out of the people who actually matter.

Kelce has not lost a step..I don't know what games you've been watching...he's attracting alot of defensive Attention and still making big plays and big blocks..last week he had a huge td..huge first down conversion and a 2 blocks that lead to TDS by other players..

I think he just looks slower compared to the guys on the field with him. He used to look freaky fast next to a bum version of maclin and Jason avant. And he doesn’t run full speed at tacklers anymore he’s playing smarter with his body.
